Breast cancer is a tumor that spreads fast in day-to-day life. It is one of the most common cancers in the world. Breast Cancer, According to Ayurveda-

Breast cancer is a common cancer that occurs in females. The cases are increasing day by day. The death of breast cancer increases day by day. Its rate is 1-7 times higher than its maternal mortality rate. 

According to Ayurveda, the human body consists of doshas, Dhatu, and mala imbalance of these doshas causes serious problems like breast cancer. It occurs due to an imbalance of three doshas; pitta, and Kapha Reason for the imbalance of doshas is due to improper diet or virus. Mahar vihar Digestive fire or maharani is also get disturbed, which results in the accumulation of toxins in the body. These factors are responsible for the formation of breast cancer.

Vata dosha is responsible for metastasis, Kapha dosha is responsible for the abnormal growth of the cell, which creates malignant tumors, and Pitta doshas increases the metabolic activity of cancerous cells. 

Breast cancer is easy to diagnose. It is diagnosed by mammography and physical examination of the breast. The test is done in the lab, where the fluid is taken from the lump and analyzed under a microscope. This procedure is called fine Needle aspiration. Local anesthetic is used to prevent pain during the whole procedure. Other option, like core biopsy or vacuum-assisted breast biopsy, is done to diagnose breast Cancer. In this procedure, a section of the breast lump is cut and examined.

Division of Breast Cancer-

Breast cancer is divided into two types-

  1. In situ:- It stays localized near the area of the breast without spreading to the surrounding breast tissue.
  2. Invasive:- When neoplasm can migrate through the lymphatic system and gradually affect other vital function.

The primary sites are:- Lobules which are the milk production gland, and the lactiferous duct, which transports milk from Lobules to the nipple.

Stages of Breast Cancer-

Breast cancer is diagnosed in three stages-

  • Early stage:- The tumors present in axillary lymph nodes. 
  • Locally advanced stage:- The disease is spread on the near tissue and lymph nodes.
  • Metastatic stage:- The primary tumors affect other parts of the body and lead to secondary tumors. 

It is a rare case to have breast cancer in males. Most women get affected by this Cancer. The case of Breast cancer in males is 0 1 per cent.

Treatment of Breast Cancer-

According to Ayurveda, breast cancer gets cured by balancing the doshas of the body. These doshas are balanced with the help of Aahar Vihar and Ayurvedic drugs. It doesn’t use any chemicals or radiation. The line of treatment is done according to the balance of Rog and Rogi.
